PHOENIX SEXTET
Brussels Muzieque is very glad to present you one of the projects emerged from our platform. As a melting pot of sensitive artists exchanging ideas and experimenting with different ensemble sets in this musical laboratory, our platform gave birth to the Phoenix Sextet. They have prepared a monumental program for you: the sextets of Brahms op. 18 and the Verklaerte Nacht by Schoenberg - the masterpiece from the (still) Late Romantic style of the composer. Thanks to our international network of collaborations, this program has already been booked for this year by other prestigious festivals and theatres such as the Teatro La Fenice in Venice during the Festival Galuppi e della Musica - I luoghi di Baldassare, the Arnold Schönberg Center in Vienna, and in Belgium in the coming months the sextet will perform likewise at the Citizens' Garden Concerts (European Parliament in Brussels) and the Arte Amanti: Internationaal kamerfestival. Phoenix Sextet: Nadja Nevolovitsch, Sarah Oates, Mihai Cocea, Monika Mlynarczyk, Silvian Dmitry and Eduardo Tonietto

Unorthodox Quartet - November 3rd in Brussels
Something special is coming next week: masterworks you might know very well played in an innovative and unorthodox instrumentation. Matteo Del Monte and Antonio Capolupo, solo flutist and solo clarinetist of La Monnaie Opera, Gordon Fantini, solo bassoonist of the Belgian National Orchestra, and Eduardo Tonietto, cellist and artistic director of Brussels Muzieque, will recreate well-known and beloved pieces by Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, all transcribed for this original range of instruments. Here is a glimpse of Mozart's Divertimento in D major for strings. See you on November 3rd, at 20h in Art Base for our next production: "DIVERTIMENTO" - BACH, MOZART & BEETHOVEN || BRUSSELS MUZIEQUE CONCERT. For ticket reservation: http://www.art-base.be/index.php?view=details&id=2521%3Atemplate-concert&option=com_eventlist&Itemid=2
